Interpretation
WHITE COLLAR CRIMES - As a rule, white-collar crimes are coupled with business and they usually do not imply violence or bodily injury. White-collar crimes are crimes that involve bank fraud such as, making false statements to obtain a loan, embezzlement, filing false reports or returns with government agencies, using the mail or wire communications to defraud, etc. These crimes are prosecuted in state or federal courts, depending upon what laws have been violated.
