PRENUPTIAL AGREEMENT - A contract entered into by two people prior to marriage is considered to be a prenuptial agreement. Prenuptial agreement content varies widely, however it usually includes provisions for the division of property in case of a divorce. As a rule, any rights to spousal support during or after the dissolution of marriage are also listed in prenuptial agreements.
